Oil Seeds Prices: Groundnut- Fall in groundnut oil prices due to reduced demand.

Due to reduced demand from stockist and retailers, groundnut oil prices slipped at the oil and oilseed wholesale market. In the absence of any major retail buying the refined palmolein held stable.

Because of lower demand from shippers and soap industries, castor seed bold and castor oil commercial declined.

In the absence of necessary buying support the linseed oil continued to rule stable.

Groundnut oil eased by Rs 5 per 10 kg to close at Rs 975 from December 29 th's closing level of Rs 980. The refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 457 per 10 kg.

In non-edible oils, linseed oil ended unaltered at Rs 875 per 10 kg, castor seed bold fell by 50 per 100 kg to Rs 3,700 from its previous level of Rs 3,750 and castor oil commercial went down by Rs 10 per 10 kg to 770 from Rs 780.
